Get internet and application help near you

Find published eCentre and library routes, prepare for your visit and protect your documents on a shared computer.

Prepare before travelling

Take the application link or advertisement, your CV, the documents the application requests and the phone used for login codes. Make sure you can access your email account. Contact the centre before travelling to confirm opening times, available computers and the help you need.

The four WCG eCentres below list free internet, email assistance, online job and university applications, computer training and up to 10 free printed pages per day. Ask whether scanning, CV typing, extra printing or a longer session is available before relying on it. Staff can assist with the process; the employer or institution decides the outcome.

Published hours: check before travelling

The eCentre addresses, contacts and hours below are published details checked on 18 September 2026, not confirmation that a centre is open today. Ask about public holidays, computer availability and the assistance you need before travelling.

Langeberg: Robertson and Zolani eCentres

Robertson: Thusong Centre, corner of Paddy and Wesley Streets. Enquiries: robertson.ecentre@gmail.com. The published service list also includes scanning and assistance with CV typing and email accounts.

Robertson published hours: Monday–Thursday 08:00–16:30; Friday 08:00–14:00. Confirm before travelling.

Zolani, Ashton: Zolani Library, Building Avenue. Enquiries: 023 615 2153 or zolani.ecentre@gmail.com. Residents of Montagu, Bonnievale and McGregor can also ask their nearest municipal library about computer access before travelling to an eCentre.

Zolani published hours: Monday–Friday 08:00–17:00. Confirm before travelling.

Breede Valley: Worcester and De Doorns eCentres

Worcester/Zwelethemba: Unobuntu Multi-Purpose Centre, corner of Mthwazi and Nkentsa Streets. Enquiries: worcester.ecentre@gmail.com.

Worcester/Zwelethemba hours: confirm with the centre; readable opening hours were not published on the page checked.

De Doorns: Multipurpose Resource Centre, Kliniek Street. Enquiries: dedoorns.ecentre@gmail.com. For Rawsonville and Touwsrivier, the library contacts below are a closer starting point to ask about available access and assistance.

De Doorns hours: confirm daily opening and closing times; the published hours wording is unclear.

Ask your local library

Langeberg Municipality lists free library membership, computers and internet. Town contacts: Ashton, Faure Street — 023 615 8066; Bonnievale, Van Zyl Street — 023 616 8016; McGregor, Tindall Street — 023 625 1330; Montagu, Piet Retief Street — 023 614 8010; Robertson, Van Reenen Street — 023 626 8205.

Breede Valley’s directory lists Goudini Library at 17 Le Seur Street, Rawsonville — 023 348 2934; and Touwsrivier Library at the corner of Jane and Logan Streets — 023 348 2899. Ask what computer access and application assistance are available. Library printing, scanning, membership requirements and staffed assistance must be confirmed with the library; the eCentre allowance above does not apply automatically.

Plan one useful visit

Before leaving home, keep the advert link, application deadline and required-document list together. Check that you can open your email on your phone and receive any login code yourself.

Ask the centre: “I need help with an online application. Is a computer available, can you help with the required upload or scanning, and is there a charge for anything beyond the published free service?” Do not assume a library has the same printing allowance or facilities as an eCentre.

Before leaving the centre, open the submission receipt and keep a copy on your own device. If the application is still a draft, write down the missing step and deadline. Then sign out and remove your downloaded personal files from the shared computer.

Before leaving a shared computer

  1. Confirm the application was submitted and keep its receipt or reference on your own device.
  2. Sign out of every email and application account. Do not leave saved passwords in the browser.
  3. Remove your downloaded personal documents and collect your printed pages. Ask the assistant for help if you are unsure where files were saved.
