BVM prepaid-meter replacements: no charge in selected areas
Breede Valley Municipality says designated residential properties will receive replacement prepaid electricity meters at no cost to owners. The project allows one meter per erf and excludes granny flats or second meters, separate flats or blocks, and Eskom supply areas including Rawsonville, Brandwacht, Sunnyside Orchard and Stofland. Bloemhof Electrical is the authorised replacement contractor. Check staff identification against the official notice; a town listing does not mean every property is included.
